RUBY FALLS COLLECTION

The road to Chattanooga is splashed with See Rock City birdhouses, Stuckey's and the occasional invitation to Ruby Falls. It doesn't sound like much.  The elevator drops 420 feet into the descending darkness of Lookout Mountain and the doors open into the heart of a stalactite-filled cavern, ancient and wet to the touch.  And when the swishing, gushing, whooshing sound you've been following gives way to the tallest underground waterfall in North America, your heart can hardly take it in.

And when you grow up and move away 2000 miles from home, and meet a man who was raised less than a hundred miles from you…and when his CD shows up in the mail with a song called Ruby Falls, it's impossible not to be filled with as much wonder as that little girl back in the cave, spinning around a stalagmite, trying to catch the drops as they splash and laughing up at the Falls.
